Running Rut

I am in a huge running rut, and I hope to get out of it soon, so that I can train for the Nike Women's Marathon. Something changed with my running goals after completing the Seattle Rock N Roll Marathon, and I hope that I find my mojo soon. I am taking action, but not the action I should. I am eating more then exercising, and reading books on Zen Running, I need to find some inspiration and someone to give me a swift kick in the butt.


  1. I posted and it didn't stick! Just go out and run. Don't think about distance...just start running again. It'll work itself out.
    You're better than the rut!

  2. Thanks Paula for your kind words. I went out and ran 5 kms on Thursday night, and did another run this morning. I hope that the rut has gone!!! =)

  3. Ya need a swift kick in the butt? Well, I'm your guy! Running on Thursday night with you felt really great, and you helped me get my mojo workin'... so I hope I can do the same for you. After we warm up with a few more runs, we can tackle the hills *heheheh*
